Ephesians 4:17-19 – This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Transcript: And now, Admonition, brought to you by the Collierville Church of Christ. There’s an interesting point that Paul makes in Ephesians, Chapter four verses 17 and 18. He talks about the Gentiles who are futile in their mind. He says they’re they’re of no value. They’re pointless because of the way they’re living, because they’re living in a way that is ignorant of God, and they’re choosing a course in life based upon their ignorance of God. So when you think about that, when he says that… In the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from a life of God because of the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart… when you read those words, does it make you want to stop and know God better? Does it also explain to you the struggles and the difficulties you see in the world around you because people live ignorant of God? Help someone be more acquainted with God today.
