When No One Is Watching – Admonition 343

Aaron CozortAdmonition - Audio

Ephesians 6:7

And now Admonition. One of the greatest struggles as a parent is to teach a child to do what’s right, even when no one else is looking. Even when you’re not watching them, even when you’re not observing them, and they know you can’t see them; they still need to be taught to do what’s right, even then. Paul writes in Ephesians chapter five or chapter six and verse seven With goodwill doing service. So he tells these bondservants, you obey your masters as if you’re obeying God, as if you’re obeying Christ, not with eye service as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ with goodwill, doing service as to the Lord and not to men. We need to teach our children and raise them up, that they always serve their masters no matter who they might be as if they’re serving God, knowing that they’re always serving God.
