Mark 15:3-5


Summary: Jesus did not respond to his accusers and we should learn the lesson in this for us. Scripture: Mark 15:3-5 – And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing. Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, “Do You answer nothing? See how many things they testify against You!” But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled. Transcript: And now, Admonition… Sometimes we say too much. That goes without saying. Sometimes we talk too often. There was a time in which Jesus said nothing. in Mark chapter 15, then Pilate asked him saying, do you answer nothing? He’s on trial and he’s giving no reply for their accusations. He says, Do you answer nothing? See how many things they testify against you? But Jesus still answered nothing. So that Pilate marveled. Here’s the governor of the people and he’s astonished that this man stands and says nothing. Why can you say nothing when someone speaks against you? Let me encourage you to think about it this way. Jesus life spoke for him. Does yours?
